People, don’t allow others to make you feel guilty about things such as this when corporations that made this commercial probably dumped tons of oil or pollutants into the environment last year. Take responsibility, but don’t let em’ tax you. Especially for the stuff trees breathe in and give back as oxygen! If we want real change, the whole system needs to be redone. Not more taxing, you can’t give money to the earth; so who gets the $…..?

Taxes never accomplish any goal the carbon tax will be a means of control. We need to grow hemp to replace timber and plastics in products. Solar and Wind microgeneration since these types of power loose energy over long power lines. Home permaculture to reduce the need for large scale agriculture. Nuclear, geothermal, clean coal, and hydroelectric power until more advanced power sources comes online. Electric cars are no good due to batteries so bio diesel and hydrogen power for most autos.

wow how shortsighted (disclaimer: I am not a Republican and I am definitely not stuch in the left-right paradigm as you seem to be). Taxes hurt everybody except the special interests, even then in the long term they are hurt. i hope u realize that govt has a really poor record when it comes to taxes and their stated uses. the carbon tax is just another attempt to enslave us all.
